Help Articles

Start with the most common issues

These short guides cover the tasks and problems students are most likely to encounter while using the CSP Hub.

Creating your CSP account

Use a valid access code to create your account, select your course section, and activate your ebook in one process.

Read article
  1. Go to the CSP Hub sign-in page.
  2. Enter the access code that came with your ebook.
  3. After the code is verified, complete the account form and choose your correct class section.
  4. Submit the form to create the account, activate the book, and open your portal.

If you already have a CSP account, sign in instead of creating a second account.

When an access code does not work

What to check when a code is not found, has already been redeemed, has been disabled, or is attached to the wrong course.

Read article

First, copy and paste the code exactly as it was provided. Avoid adding spaces before or after it.

If CSP reports that the code has already been redeemed, sign in to the account that originally used the code. If the code is disabled or still cannot be found, send CSP Support the code and the name of your course so we can investigate.

Your book is missing from the portal

Steps to take when you can sign in but do not see the ebook or course resources you expected.

Read article

Confirm that you are signed in to the same CSP account that redeemed the access code. Then check that the correct course section was selected during registration or redemption.

If the book still does not appear, contact support and include your course, section, institution, and the access code if you still have it.

Sign-in and password help

Use the password reset process when you know your CSP email address but cannot sign in.

Read article

Use the Forgot password? link on the CSP Hub sign-in page. Make sure you enter the email address associated with your CSP account.

If you no longer have access to that email address or are unsure which address you used, send a support request rather than creating a duplicate account.

Course or section information is wrong

Get help if your access code shows the wrong course, no active sections, or you selected the wrong section.

Read article

Do not create another account to correct course information. Send CSP Support your institution, course number, section number, and instructor name if known.

If the system says that no active sections are available, include that exact message in your request.

Browser and technical problems

Simple checks for pages that do not load correctly, buttons that do not respond, or content that looks incomplete.

  • Refresh the page and sign in again.
  • Try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
  • Make sure cookies and JavaScript are enabled for the CSP Hub.
  • If the problem continues, tell us which page you were using, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers

These answers cover common questions about CSP accounts and digital access.

Where do I get my CSP access code?

Your access code is provided with the CSP digital text you purchased or received through your course or book distributor. If you were expecting a code and did not receive one, check with the seller or course contact first.

Why does my access code say it has already been redeemed?

An access code can only be redeemed once. Sign in to the CSP account that originally used the code. If you believe the code was redeemed in error, contact support and include the code.

Can I add another book to an existing CSP account?

Yes. Sign in to your existing account and use the access-code option in the portal to connect an additional eligible book or course resource.

Should I create a new account for each class?

No. Use one CSP account and add eligible books or course resources to that account. Creating duplicate accounts can make it harder to locate previously redeemed materials.

Why does CSP ask for institution information?

Institution and course information helps connect eligible students to the correct class section and course resources. Enter the information associated with the course for which you are activating the book.

Why is a book or resource no longer available?

Some course materials are available only during an assigned access period. If you believe access ended unexpectedly, contact support with the book title and course information so we can review it.

Should I include my password in a support request?

No. CSP Support does not need your password to investigate an account problem. Never send your password through the support form.

What information should I include when contacting support?

Include your name, CSP account email, institution, course and section when relevant, the page you were using, and a clear description of what happened. If the problem involves an access code, include the code in the optional field provided below.
